so took the intake off, and found this chillin in the number 6 runner
pic inside the head, the number 12 vavle guide looks damaged, hard to tell
so is it salvageable? or is a new head in my future?

im with jetjock on this. its probably the screen in the bottom of the tank is plugged, as it acts like a filter.
the best way is remove the tank, and look inside with a light, tricky to do and see if its plugged, then carefully clean it.
other way is just stab it with a screwdriver and remove...
the NA and turbo trans for 87-88 are the same externaly. internally the turbo trans has the extra clutch pack per gear to take the extra power.
though for the cost, why not swap in a a 5spd? it will prob end up costing the same anyways, so why risk a used auto that may only last 6 months...
first of all, nice numbers!
2nd) that break is far to clean, i would say its a defect in the part, most likely bad casting job.
the syncro gear is brass and softer than the rest of the internals, so that should have been the first to fail if over powered, or you would have torn teeth off...
casue i lost a bucket of my bolts so i have some missing :cry:
what size/lentgh is need for the following:
all for a w58.
flywheel to crank
clutch cover to flywheel
slave cylender to trans.
the shifter to transmission (the 4 bolts where the busing goes)
^ this. as far as i know only the ga70 (the supra with the weird 1g-gte) was narrow body. all MA70 and JZA70 supras were widebody. and just the front and rear fenders are what it a widebody.

but of a ghetto install on that honda, but really its a universal fit item, so car will have be modified to fit the hook.
