Title change for the thread, my threads tend to wander off topic from time to time so think of this as somewhere to come shoot the shit about my build and cars in general

The basic concept for this swap is take a large displacement engine leaving it high compression match that to a medium Turbo at low boost (5>8psi) and cover any Detonation with the Methanol injection, I hope to make something that has the widest possible powerband from idle to redline with moderate RWHP to keep it drivable on low profile street tires.

I will be posting updates to this as I go along and as usual feel free to drop in and ask questions or have a chat!

Ian, I'm curious at what RPM the T04z spooled on the 7M? (start and peak)

...and where will that same range be with the V?


I'm thinking lower redline, higher pressures from the displacement?

(In other words... would the "spool-up" window move down with the same wheel?)
