Well, I've been around for a short while here at SM now, and must say, this is an exceptional community. I tinkered in a "vacuum" for over a dozen years on this car until I found you guys (and gals!) and my supralife has not been the same since... no looking back.

I decided that I am inspired enough to begin a thread on my own on-going journey in earnest now... and welcome any and all to join. This thread will be guaranteed to provide a preponderance of pictures and verbiage... not always to everyone's taste... but hopefully, I will at times match the sheer volume with some small quality in content as well.

My meandering journey will certainly bring to light irrelevant details of matters unrelated... as I find my way through the catacomb of passages that will lead me to the light at the end of MY tuning tunnel... so please understand that this venue is as much a therapy of mind, heart, soul and mechanic... through photo and prose, to feed the likes of my alter-ego... this cyber-self of wit in writ... yours truly,

Well, part of the reason for my "new" build thread is the array of fine hardware I recently "closed" on... (Thanks, IJ!

Obviously, the pictured assortment calls for a SERIOUS upgrade from where I have been. I intend to do it in several stages, to get the car on the road, then plan the major steps, and do a "Phased" approach to my eventual goals...

...more specifics to follow...

NOTE: The parts I have planned for are the pictured FFIM w/DBW TB, complete head, and custom ex w/divorced DP, T-housing, and 3.5" elbow-and-out in all it's ceramic coated beauty!

^^^ I recently procured this "old-skool" piece to "compliment" my existing alphabet soup of HKS hardware. Nearly everything is "early/period" stuff from when I started out with the supra... so it's kind of nostalgic!

^^^ I have some minor dis-assembly that was started on the car last fall. I set the IC pipe in place just to see how it looks. I will not be able to use it with the FFIM and EX plumbing I got from IJ, but I MIGHT just put it all in with his HEAD since that's a quick swap, and I could get my car on the road until I'm done planned and procuring for the more major upgrade down the road. I suspect JUST the head will really light my current setup on "fire"... and be a welcome staged effort toward even BIGGER and BETTER things later!
