Excellent! Congratulations on a wise decision. The color and the workmanship looks outstanding. You should have a for quite a while.

Thank you! I LOVE the color too!
Hmmm... from the looks of that... shall I call it a "CR?" ...you have been throwing a FEW rooster tails 30' into the air and buffing some case-covers with mother earth on the whoooopties for awhile with that buzzsaw...

Thank you! I agree on all points COMPLETELY!
...in fact... as my paint-guy walked away at the shop and I began to get into my car... I thought twice, hollered... and walked over and slipped him a "C-note". He said "hey, what's that for?" and I just replied... that's "I'm Happy" money...
He just smiled and said... "Well thank you! I'll go split it with my assembly guy right now!"
First Class.

Looks beautiful Crisp, love the color.
Those body strips look nice with the rubber section left original, help break things up a little.
I agree with your opinion on those pics you posted, the work Equip wheels are timeless, just like the MA70 and go hand in hand

Thanks Dan! I'm really happy with how the molding came out... the NARROW stock rubber strip makes the car much less "dated"... and cleans up the lines a lot in my opinion! Glad I had some feedback on that BEFORE it was shot... worked out nicely!
I am really liking those Work Equip wheels more and more! They are PERFECT for the look I want... so I might have to start reading up on sizing that would be best and try to track some down... as nice as "chrome" can be, I'm not so much a "bling" guy, and prefer the "flatter" finish in the lower set. Also kind of like the broader spokes. I've been trying to look around at other rims in here that are similar in stance and appearance. I think I've seen some Rota's that are pretty nice, too.
We'll see about the rims though... as I'm about FLAT BROKE these days!
...maybe in the spring...

Re: CRISPOGRAPHY... come fire walk with me...
car looks great man...i envy you gettin to toy with yours...working on that same ability though right now! I was going to tell you with such a fresh new paint job that looks outstanding you are in the need for some rims...and then i scrolled down and popped a "halfy" lol when i saw the rims on the other car and i thought it was yours!!! But you do indeed need to look into a set and then you won't be far from what i think is an "ideal" mk3...in appearance that is...because an all around ideal car would have 1000hp streetable setups...cut good consistent 60fts...and of course be RK and BHG proof!
joking aside....
car looks awesome.
Rims will enhance awesomenivity. (new word....look it up)

LOL!
Thank you for the kind words and shared enthusiasm! I'm really "stretching it" every time I do ANYTHING to this car... but it's like a spiritual-zen-force thing now... and this site and my renewed palate for this automobile coupled with run-o-the-mill stresses of life, work and the unavoidable burdens of daily reality make it a haven for my mind, body and soul to be transformed for awhile now and again through the diversion that is so rich in reward in our Supras!
Okay, so I accept your projection of "awesomenivity" in the near future as both challenge and edict for me to pursue now that I've come this far.
HOWEVER... I'd settle on a ticket with a 500hp mark coupled with a daily grunt to the tune of 400's reliably shod in some of those rims! I mean honestly... it's hard enough NOT ending up with a pile of supra rubble or Nippon Steel wrapped about a tree or pole and heaven knows the LAW is always lurking about in our midst trying to keep our local highways and byways safe from the treacherous ranks of compounded atmosphere pumping straight-sixes-Toyota that stalk the pavement in small numbers of Mad-Maxian fanatic families held together by the commonality of that phenomenon we liken to automotive WARP!
PHEW!
Yup.
