dsmer to supras
hey everyone. new to this site. i got a 89 toyota supra targa. it was an automatic till last weekend did the 5spd swap.ive owned the car for a year now. my last car was a awd talon runnin 30psi fun car to drive. im plannin on boosting it this coming spring. give me your advice on the setup ill be running.
itll be lexus maf, ct26 turbo, 600cc injectors, walbro 255 pump, 28 by 14 core intercooler. i will be running the nt ignition system fiigured id be good for up to 10lbs. let me know what you think

welcome to supramania! my friend has a 2g awd talon also. what turbo were you running 30 psi on?
any pics of the supra?
and as for your planned mods-
if the car is n/a right now, then you cant use the lexus maf as the non turbo 7m uses karman vortex afm( the flapper style maf). you would have to convert to 7mgte electronics

Hello and welcome, and am sure the turbo 7m supra uses the Karman Vortex while the none turbo has the flapper.

any way around gettin all the turbo electronics or would the stock maf work. any mods for it. sorry use to dsms they got free mods like crazy so some of my questions might sound a little wierd. and sorry it wasnt on 30 it was 20 to be dd and it was a modded big 16g. little drunk when i wrote that. yea i do have pics i will get up just on my phone right now

no i don't think it's possible, you would have to get the turbo electronics, it would be cheap if you found a junk car but most people will tell you just do the 7mgte or 1jz swap it will be better in the long run,

+1 for the white supra's
+1 for 4g63t(all my friends run 1g tsi's)
might want to consider a upgraded FPR, Ive been told the stocker cant hold up to a walbro 255.

yea that was goin to do that to along with rail. and possibly manifold with q45 tb but those 2 will towards the end of the build.
