Finally an update!!! So today, I got some time to sand down the interior and paint it. Man it is A LOT of WORK!! I got started at 830 am and proceeded to pull the dash and seat and what not so that I wouldnt get everything covered in dust. I took my wire wheel to get to the thick tar and used my 5" electric sander to get everything smooth.....here is a pic from my phone from when i was sanding everything down. Then I grabbed my camera when I ran out to get some more paint.....

I realized that I wasnt going to have time to do the full interior in a day so I just did from the front seat forward. I think in another full day or even shorter if I can get avi and edwin to help and the rear will be done. Anyway, here are some more pics through the stages of primer and different coats....

Cars are like women. They suffer from jealous rages.
Unfortunately, flowers have no effect, and synthetic oil is expensive.

Nice pics man! I'm really curious to see how this turns out, good luck with everything! I ran Koni yellows and Eibach springs on my 88 hardtop, and that thing was stiff as hell! Click here to enlarge

Oh, and if the trim pieces (on the outside of the b-pillar, behind the window) are loose and rattling (like most targa cars I've come across), 4 5mm lock nuts will fix that. Just saying, they're really easy to get to when your interior is out like that. Click here to enlarge

    Any updates lately?
