Howdy everyone. Im a new member here looking for knowledge.

I am 19, and have always been a long time fan of MK3s/MK4's but never thought id buy one. I am planning to pick up a 1990 Targa this weekend to build me a fun daily driver. I wanted an import that wouldnt group me into the hondas/acuras in my areas and i cant afford a newer one yet so i picked this. MY family owns an Auto/Harley/Diesel performance and maintenance shop here in VA, and i am looking to broaden my own knowledge of these cars to help the shop succeed.

Plans are to do a 1jz swap and get to a nice crisp 400HP in a daily driver format, single turbo. I plan to read up around and gather a build list to help me get to that goal.
