    nice! but i really recomend the oil softline kit for re-install if you can afford them. casue after 20+ years, just worth the investment to avoid leaks

    That's actually one of the cleanest CT's I've seen. Usually the compressor wheel is nicked all to hell.

    So I received the 57 trim back from Albert. It looks like excellent work. The shaft feels very precise and the wheel has been clipped. I did notice that the rubber hose/clips that was attached to the turbo is missing. (The connecting hose that can be seen in the pic on page 1 of this thread). I suppose I can just go pick that up at AutoZone or something. Here are some picks of the new turbo and the widemouth downpipe from Driftmotion. Looks like a good fit so hopefully all the gaskets and copper spray etc etc holds well on install.

    Supra is back up and running, and man that 57 trim/DP combo makes a really nice difference.

    Cut the flat spot where the rear heatshield stud would be off the heatshield and it will fit
