Default AC oil - did i put in too much?

hey i just overhaled my ac system with a new expansion valve, parralell flow condenser, new compressor, and a new receiver as well as flushed every line and completely flushed the evaporater. however my air is not as cold as i would like with vent temps at 50 degrees when its like 75 outside. but i have a question as to how muc oil to put in. the system was completely oil free from flushing the lines and the new components. and the new compressor came with oil already in it. and the tsrm states to add 1.4-1.7oz for a new condensor, add .7oz for a new recveiver, and add 1.4-1.7 for the evaporator(cuz i completely flushed it oout. so i added 3.7 oz to the whole system plus the oil that was already in the compressor. im wondering if i added too much? how much oil comes in a new four seasons ac compressor? thanks

what refrigerant did you charge the system with, and how much? what are the outlet temperatures like at the duct farthest from the blower (driver side left of steering wheel), and what type of thermometer are you using to check the temps?

Er, when starting with an empty system and a new compressor the compressor's oil charge is all that's needed. Oil is added only when replacing components.

How much did the compressor come with? Some come with enough for a full system some come with enough for the compressor. Also did you use refrigerant that had oil in it?

what are your highside and lowside pressures?

did you vac it out and did it hold for a few hours?
sounds like there may be a leak still and that will get worse

    as mentioned numerous times.

how much refrigerant was put in in grams?
how much oil was put in (need specific volume)?

vent temps are at about 53 while moving and 61 while stopped and thats at only about 75 degrees outside temps. pressures are around 30psi low and 215 high. this is with the engine at 1500rpms. at idle the low side pressure rises to about 50psi

refrigerant used was 12 oz cans of r134a. just refrigerant no oil in it, no stop leak.

i did pull a vac on the system for an hour. then turned off the vac pump and came back an hour later and vac read the same. i replaced all the orings and lots of components so i dont think there is a leak.

as for how much was put in, i am not sure. it took 1 1/2 340 gram cans so id say around 450-500 grams. oil was pag 46 and i put in 3.7oz plus whatever the compressor already had in it. ill try and find that out.

right, add more freon, it can be 40-45 at 1500 rpm
high side doesn't matter as much and low side will spike, so it is the pressure when stabilized @ 70F @ 1500RPM

Unfortunately there is no way to know how much oil in the system. The only way to know is to flush every component, remove the compressor and drain it, then put in the proper amount.

So what is total "oil" volume for the AC System. The TSRM doesn't state a volume for the compressor itself, just volumes for the Condenser, Receiver, and Evaporator which adds up to 100-120 CC of oil, am I missing something here? Using passive context clues I'm assuming this is all that is needed.

    Thanks in advance guys.
