I was looking at information about weights of the 1JZ compared to the 1G-GTE on another site, but I'm not sure how legit they are.

Does this sound about right?

1JZ-GTE - 477 lbs
1G-GTE - 385 lbs

I'm also looking for information on the length of the 2 engines if anyone has this info!

OK, here is the length as well... now this is coming from just sources on car forums so it may not be right:

1st gen 1JZ length + weight: 29.5" + 477 lbs
1G-GTE Length + Weight: 27" + 385 lbs

Will the JZA70 disc rotor, anchor plate and caliper be a direct bolt on or do I need to fab some thing to make it fit?

it's an a70, everything bolts up

ga70 got the big brakes in 1990 whereas the rest of the a70 jap imports got them in 89.
