Yes, that is what I was saying about the standalone. That is something to look at when I do my Stinger.

So obviously the coils will be needed. They all get a constant 12V, ground comes from the EMS but what are the other two pins for since they are four pins. Probably the built in igniter?

This setup only uses 3 wires. 12v constant, ground, and the trigger.

Not sure. All I remember is that it has the 12v constant, ground, and the trigger. I suck at wiring and didn't design this setup, and of course I tossed the install instructions.

The trigger is a ground from the ECU, that is how the coils are fired, no?

I know a signal is sent to the igniter and then to the coil, does the JZ ECU send a ground or a voltage to the igniter to have it ground the coil to fire?

its a gound signal, the stock jz coils have one wire that is +12v (B+) and the other side goes to the igniter (witch is the ground signal). my question is lets say you want to run them with stock ECU would you tie all 6 of the igf signals coming off the coil together or just the one from cylinder number one?

also keep in mind this set up will only work with ecus that run sequential spark not wasted spark
