My 1jz vs 335i

This past friday night after work I went to play some pool w a friend. On the way home I was driving normally and this black bmw twin turbo 335i pulls up next to me on us1. We both slowly drive off the light normally. All of a sudden he punches it. I didn't really feel like it. Next light he did it again. 3rd light I was like fine! We both took off from a roll in 2nd. I'm at 14 psi not tuned yet after the new setup.(Dm 60-1 kit) 2nd gear I was a nose in front of him. 3rd gear I start to pull a little more in front. I hit 4th gear and I start to pull hard on him. By 5th gear I was a good 3-4 cars in front of him. I slowed down and he caught up. He rolled down his window, his girl was riding shotgun. She smiled at me and he gave me a thumbs up. That's when I realized it was the same guy I lost to a couple months ago when I had the ct26 in. I talked to him last time he said he had a chip in it running 14 psi.I can't wait to tune and put my new cams in!!! It wasn't that great of a kill but it's all i got since I put this new setup in. It's like no one is out or no one wants to run.

no one? I guess this wasn't a worthy kill story then. lol! My bad next time I'll post one up about smoking a porsche 911 turbo or a z06 or something.

Theres not a whole lot of traffic in the section, have to be patient.

Thanks guys. Yea the 335i pretty fast stock. They are twin turbo. I'm not sure how much boost they run stock. They put down around 306bhp. He was on my tail until i hit 4th. Then I was gone.

The other day I was late for work. I wasn't trying to race I was just trying to get to work. A Honda 600cbr was barely pulling on me once I got into full boost. He said he was shifting at 14krpm! I was extremely suprised!! I saw him again a couple days later on the same stretch lol!
