So....it's been about 5 months since i last posted and i'm now living on the south coast of England. It feels good to be home again. A lot has happened though. Amy & I split up just after xmas, it was ultimately a mutual decision, we just drifted apart, the distance was a real killer. Shit happens, i guess, but things move on. It's a clean slate on all fronts, and i need to just get on with things now.

After a blip in my relationship a few weeks ago (don't worry, it's all sorted now), i made a decision that i guess has been a long time coming. I'm fed up of this house. When i say that, i mean it in terms of the isolation that's required to live here. It would be fine if i were retired, with money, or on holiday, but i've been here for over 4 years now, and i need a change.

Okay, its just gone half past eight in the evening. I'm sat on a national express coach in Brighton, heading towards London Victoria. Only a short hop, but my trip doesn't end there. I then have to change, to take the service onwards to Stansted Airport. Its not the most luxurious way to travel, but for £19, i certainly cant complain. I have plenty of legroom and the seats are more comfortable than the flight i took from Philadelphia to Heathrow.

Originally, the plan had been to head to the computer fair on Tottenham Court Road they hold in the UCL lecture halls, but we woke up a bit too late for that. Still, we went via Tube, Sherif taking full advantage of the free travel he gets, and me…well…stuck with an Oyster card.
