A lot of people who do this job attempt it with the subframe, diff and fuel tank in place and have a great deal of difficulty. It wakes about 1-2 hours to drop a subframe and you can renew all sorts of bushes, easily change diff oil and get excellent access to the fuel filter while you are at it so...

Thanks goes to John89t for his initial guide, this is hopefully to enhance that for the novice mechanic but was a great help to me making this - thanks John Step 1 - Remove the centre cap to your wheel (jewellers screwdriver helped for mine) so you expose the large bolt that holds the driveshaft...

Courtesy of Mark3 on mkiiisupra.net: 1st off i plugged the induction passages with tissue, then i drilled the holes out to 10mm, i think the correct size is 10.4mm but i didnt have that size drill, better too small than too big a hole though, lol then get cutting new threads for heli coils...
