Would any of you guys be interested in a meet sometime over the summer? Throw in some ideas and post where you are from. I was thinking maybe sometime in the summer we could all meet up in Boise, Id. and hang out then maybe go to the track and race. Just a suggestion.

im in the middle of wa. right on the columbia so boise wouldnt be TOO far, but most of the nw guys are in oregon and puget sound.

we should meet in wenatchee, right in the middle, no race track though, or much of anything, but if we could organize it, yea i'd be willing to make a 3 hour ish drive.

If my car is running I'm in. Boise is quite a drive for just an afternoon meet though. Jebus and me went to a toyota meet this summer, It was ok, it really needed more supras though. Count me in.

yea i live here, and they wont allow unsactioned races. i tryed. what i meant is that there are no tracks for the public to take their cars like we want.

1 to many scions. and yea, i need to see more than 2 supras at a meet for once. hopefully i'll have my next level mods and preventative uprgrades taken care of by end of spring break.

Yeah lets just throw some ideas in and see what happens. I live in Idaho Falls (about 4 hrs. away from Boise so lets try to think of a place that isn't too far from all of us. It would be awesome if we could all get together and bs and what not. I thought some type of race would be cool or something but location will be a problem.

americanjebus

ok from what i gather if we orginize this well enough we'll have supras from

idaho falls.
my location (middle of wa.)
puget sound
portlanders
and bc's

we need to find a track right in the middle. only one i can think of would be PIR in puget sound.

would everyone be down for a seattle run, an evening run so theres less traffic and we have more open roads. or a midnight meet w/ a run at dawn so theres nothing out and open roads for the whole pack. <- done this before and conditions are great, cool dense air, no traffic, and what authority isnt in booking is simply dozing off.

biggest downside i can think of is the long ass drive for the guy who started this thread.

Yeah, how many miles from Boise is Puget Sound? Sounds pretty good to me. If we plan this later summer then we can get this organized and it shouldn't be a problem. We also need to know how many cars would go to see if would even be worth it.

Don't forget about the PacNW Supra Nationals. 2006 will be our 4th year. Last year it was in Portland and it was a HUGE success - thanks again Joe. This year I have heard rumors that our friends up in BC would like to host this event.

Be sure to watch for more information over at http://PacNW.Supras.Org

Dude they arent talking about TX2K6, just a little supra meet that will probably last a couple or a few hours and that be it. If you want to drive all the way from Michigan to find that its completely dumping and roads are being shutdown then go ahead. The only meet around here i would drive more than 2 hours for is pacnw supra nationals.

Actually... the PacNW Supra Nationals is nearly as big as the Texas Supra Nationals. This past year we had about 60 Supras show up for a weekend of dyno pulls, drag racing, a scenic drive, a show-and-shine, karting, etc.

We welcome everyone - even if you want to drive in from outside of our region.

you would need about two days to get there without risking a ticket.

we could all meet in spokane, they have a track on the weekends its like 6$ to race, and it would be fun to walk all over "out of stock" a local car club here run by honduhs and a subaru. but first we could all fix my broken ass car, :P haha! anyways im gonna say screw my 7mgte cuz its fist f%(ked me for a while, i found a 1jz gtte front clip of a 92 mk3 ^^

Chances are I'll come out for some of these as well. PacNW annual meet, anything reasonably close to me... I'll drive to Oregon / Idaho if I have to.

Two days to drive to Boise? Bah... bring a friend and drive in shifts. If I can made it from Canada to Disneyland overnight, I think you can drive from Puget Sound to Boise in less. :D

I drove from Cordelane (SP???) to Seattle in 6 hrs, I even shot up to Wenatchee and over stevens pass, Its not that bad of a drive, it would be nicer with a couple supras too. If my car is running, I'll go to Idaho, oregon or BC as long as theres a couple supras rolling together.

^like he said, if theres enough of a showing i'll do the drive, freakin drove 3 hours to end up seeing 2 supras last year.

passport to/from canada? thats news to me but i guess i should not be suprised? how long has that been into effect?

EDITED...if you have a birth certificate i think you dont need a passport? if i read this right?

Current Requirements for Entry Into Canada

Visas are not required for U.S. citizens entering Canada from the U.S. You will, however, need:

Proof of your U.S. citizenship such as your U.S. passport (For information on obtaining a U.S. passport, check with one of the regional passport agencies located throughout the U.S.) or certified copy of your birth certificate issued by the city, county or state in the U.S. where you were born. If you are a naturalized U.S. citizen and do not have a passport, you should travel with your naturalization certificate. A driver’s license, voter’s registration card or Social Security card is NOT valid proof of citizenship.
Photo identification, such as a current, valid driver’s license.
All U.S. citizens entering Canada from a third country must have a valid passport.

Hey jebus? What event did you go to that there were only 3 Supras - including yours?

Typically the Nationals have a pretty good draw - ~60 in Portland last year.

it was that pstoc bbq, it was mostly celicas and scions. got to see kwnates car and also saw/raced supradude117's rides though. worth the trip, i hope the next meet has a few more hp figures though.

Ahhh... that makes sense now. :)

You really should try to join us for the Nationals this year. We don't yet know where it will be. I keep hearing rumors that Duane and crew would like to host it but so far that's all I've heard.

I'm going to be in Spokane in May for my friends wedding and was planning to go out racing. I'll have to make a post about it when I know for sure the dates and times I'm coming down and what not :icon_bigg
