Hi everyone, recently I purchased a 86.5 MK3 due to me needing an inexpensive automatic car because I totaled my last one
My last car was an Evo 9 which I owned for about 2 years, then one night while driving home at 4 am decided to take a nap.. bad idea

ended up hitting a traffic signal pole, tried to turn at the last second but was too late. My left ankle was broken which made me look for a automatic.
Not wanting to barrow any money I was able to find this decent 86.5 MK3 7MGE Auto for $1,400.

Now the saying goes " You get what you pay for.." and this car has some rust.. okay, a good bit of rust, however none of which is on the chassis.. The only areas I was able to find rust was the hatch, both doors, and the right side fender. Needs new Side Molding all around, some misc interior trim pieces need to be replaced due to missing or cracked, but other than that the car is in great shape.. Oh and a re-spray once the rust is all gone.
I am not sure what I have planned for power upgrades for the car since my main focus will be minor restoration for now.
That's about all I can think of for now.. Thanks.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your losses, but glad your injuries were minimal. That could have ended way worse. Good luck with the new car.

Thanks, I feel quite confident working with the MA70 platform, should be a real fun.

I'm on Oahu @ Schofield .. I used to have a Cressida as a secondary car, it had a bad headgasket LOL.

Welcome to the forums, by any chance did you buy this car from Kaneohe? I think I saw this at Craiglist. But anyway, welcome and if you have a chance; join our group at 808supraclub.com. We have a MK3 parts collector name Cris that you can get parts from if you need.

Welcome and good luck. That sucks about the Evo. Oahu FTW.
