it says there are 8 of them, does that include the 2 holding in the starter??

i think your referring to the tranny bolts.
flywheel bolts connect the flywheel to the crankshaft

crap my bad, yes i mean bellhousing, are there 6 of them and then 2 holding in the starter

yes i believe thats correct. the 2 for the starter are a bit longer

thankyou, but i think i am going to have to pull the trans and engine together, i got them out, but i tnk the previous owener spanned a bolt in the bell housing and it wont seperate

its easier to pull the motor with the trans attached. just get those bolts back in there before you pull it... lol
