there is a Slight difference between the 1j and 2z oil feed in the heads..

Wouldn't it still work with the 2j block an a 2j headgasket with a 1j head.. Im pretty sure it will be fine like that... but if you have the 1j head and a 1j headgasket on the 2j block it doesn't look like it would work.. Atleast thats how it looks from the pics..

put the gaskets on top of each other, the holes should line up. I just installed my 1J headgasket 1J head on a 2J block, I haven't had any oil starvation issues.

Also means I can't check the gaskets because I already put it into the car :)

I've used both a 1JZ and 2JZ Gaskit on mine - No issues.

I used a 1JZ gasket on mine. Still running fine with no oiling issues.
