Main cap direction

It's been about 4 months since I removed the crank from my engine.. I can't for the life of me remember which way the arrows point, I know #1 Cap is closest to the timing, but do the arrows point towards the front? Seems right, just wanna make sure lol.. It's been a long day

You are attempting this without the factory book? I don't know of any caps that point backwards, just so you know. Doesn't mean Saab or somebody else went and did something stupid.
