I had to post some thing or the MAN said they were gonna kick me off. Sounded fair so Here it is My Name is mike I have an 88 mkIII targa top. This is my third supra and my dream car! I looked for a long time to find a targa top in good shape. And Well I finally found it in San Diego Ca on Ebay of all places, and won it for $330!!!!! It was in mint condition except for the engine which I had planed on pulling any way. So Here I am.
Although this is # 3 I really didnt do much to the others, The last one I just bought to resell and my first one (89 n/a) I did alot of work on but all oem stuff nothing really cool. So I have this blank project and Im ready to go full on one of a kind mods. The engine is not going to be over 400rwhp, I was always gonna do a 1jzgte swap, But lately been thinking about hust keeping my 7mgte and building on that. I know its about a 50 hp hadicap starting off but Owell Im really wanting to concentrate on the body.
I was gonna do a sleeper as Im getting old and dont want to race every honda that pulls up next to me, But hey thats kinda the point right? Any way forget sleeper Im gonna do some thing different. I am starting with a rear 1/4 panel window mod. Im going to sheet metal the rear 1/4 panel windows and put a scoop like the mustang Has any one seen this on another MkIII? Any way soon as I figure this site all out Ill post some pics and hope to get to know some fellow enthusiasts!
