No BOOST ??????

Hi i'm a newbie and have just got a mk3 manual turbo.

Had a bit of work to do as the head needed helicoils all done and back together now but can't get any boost i broke the green plug off of the thermostat housing would that cause the problem as i also have an engine management light on but no codes. Please help.

If you have an engine management light showing, you DEFINITELY have codes. Are you reading them with the paperclip trick, and if so, are you making sure that it's actually making adequate contact?

Also, could you please take a picture of the thermostat housing, so i know what exactly you're referring to :)
