Throttle Body/Wiring Question

Okay, I just bought a 2JZ-GE VVTi out of a JZX100. Its throttle cable, non-drive by wire. This is a newbie question, and I feel bad for having to ask it.

I was wondering if the MKIV Supra 2JZ-GE is drive by wire or throttle cable.

Also, did the GE come VVTi in the MKIV?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

2JZ-GE is 2JZ-GE. It uses a cable regardless of what it came from.

The VVTi 2JZ-GE came in the MK4 in 1998 only (USDM)

The JDM MK4 was produced until 2002 (I think), and used VVTi on the 2JZ-GE and -GTE.
