Stock boost gauge ques

ok when i turn on just the electricity in the car the boost gauge reads 0 but as soo as i turn the car on the boost gauge drops and reads that there is no pressure. if i can be fixed how so?

That's normal. When you're not boosting you're in negative vaccuum.

Well, it sounds like everything is hooked up properly. I'd wager you need a new boost sensor... or, you could get an aftermarket boost gauge.

Could check for the vac line coming off, but I don't think that would cause what you're seeing.

thanks alot jeff, i think i am just gonna do as u said and get an aftermarket one. either blitz or hks. who knows at this point

Aftermarket works much better anyhow. :) Reacts fast enough to reflect what the engine is actually doing, not what it did 3 seconds ago.
