anyone running accel

please be clear on what you are talking about.

Lucky for you I understand. You are talking about the Accel DFI.

The accel DFI is geared more towards V8 engines. Most of the time from carb to EFI conversions but being a standalone ;)

Requires a software dongle to use the software.

yeah, i picked it up of a buddy of mine with a bunch of other parts for dirt cheap. i imagine theres no reason it cant be run. it just seems the only thing people are using these on is SBC motors

Due to nothing more than tha herd mentality.

AEM EMS = Supra
Tec3/3r = BMW
LS1 Edit = LSx motors (Vettes, Maros etc)
BigStuff = V8
Accel DFI = V8 (really universal though)
etc etc

from what i understand its a killer standalone.... i know there stupid expencive... any experience with accel anyone?

Price is relative.

Stupid expensive is MoTeC.

The Accel DFI is no where near that price. :)

there is the software.... Give it a whirl. It is pretty self explanatory if you have dealt with EMS Tuning before.
