code 31

so magically i was workin on my car and then i went to go eat some chicken and when i came back i had a check engine light-code 31- Air flow meter circuit or Vacuum sensor signal fault, :( . i think this has something todo with my map sensor or wiring. so i checked the wiring and it was ok and i was wondering if anyone knows how to determine if the map sensor for the 1jz is bad and where i can find one. thanks

Yeah, if you have no map sensor plugged in, your car is going to run like absolute ass. I forgot to hook mine back up once and noticed immediately.

well thats how its running, really rich as if the ecu is on a fail safe mode and upon slight throttle it almost cuts out, But i want to know how to test it before i buy a new one, if i can find one. thanks
