1JZ valve bucket shims?

ok anyone know what SHIMS are compatable with the 1jz lifter buckets? to reshim the lifters? will 2j ones work or 4age ones?? please help asap

Umm, standard valve buckets. They're universal IIRC.

the 2jz valve shims do work for the 1jz.

I ordered mine new from Jeff Watson. They were about 6.50 each, but I read another thread on here a while back where someone on ebay was selling them for about three dollars each. Good luck.

I also borrowed some from BigZavz and I'm replacing them with the ones I took out of mine. Maybe you can find someone close to you that has some extras.

yes thats what i was hoping for :) dm is about 20 mins from my house maybe i can pester some out of aaron hahaha. so about 6.50 each....cool not to bad...ebay i dont know about haha. ill keep ya updated :) thanks for the help suprahero

Just to confirm, yes, they are the same as the 2JZ. They are NOT the same as the 7M.
