I bought a '90 MA-70 off eBay a couple years back. It was originally built and drifted by an employee of Autoshop Cannonball out of Vancouver. By the time I bought it, it had been through a couple other owners. When I took delivery of the car it was FAR from as represented on eBay. I drove it a couple times, took it to one drift day and overheated the engine (looking back it probably had a BHG) and it spun a bearing. It's been sitting in my garage for 2 years waiting for some TLC. . .

Well, the wait is almost over. For the past couple years I've been spending every dollar I had on my EVO. This year we won 2 nationals Solo2 championships. The car is pretty much done, except for maintenance and a couple upgrades for next year. This means I can start to spend $$ on the Supra and get it back to, and hopefully far surpass it's past glory days.

The engine and full wiring harness needs replaced, as it's a complete mess as later pics will show. The chassis, however is pretty good. It is totally rust free and is all set up for drifting and includes a host of high quality components. Here is what is on the car now as far as I can remember:

- 2.5" HKS IC pipe kit with HKS FMIC
- Koyo radiator
- J-blood body kit
- Tein shocks with pillow ball mounts
- JIC upper adjustable control arms
- Cusco strut tower bars
- Cusco sway bars
- 3" downpipe with Apex'i 3" cat back and test pipe
- Cusco 4-point roll bar
- Momo steering wheel
- Advan Model 5 white pearl wheels, 18x8F, 18x9R
- Yokohama AVS ES100 tires, 225/45/18 and 265/35/18
- Ogura twin disc clutch
- Ogura rear diff

And here is what I have planned to do over the winter:

- strip interior completely
- new rotors and pads
- new 1JZ swap from a JDM front clip
- custom exhaust manifold
- GT35R or 3076 single turbo (haven't decided yet)
- MKIV AEM EMS with jumper harness to plug into 1JZ harness
- Turbosmart eBoost 2 boost controller (same as I run on the EVO)
- any polyurethane suspension bushings I can find
- 1-piece aluminum driveshaft
- carbon hood painted body color

I figure it will probably take $15K or so to get it where I want it. Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated. I will keep this thread updated with progress throughout this coming winter and spring.

My goal is around 350-400whp on 93 octane pump gas and around 500whp on E-85 (what I run in the EVO).

Eh, the Supra needs some work but it'll looks DAMN good when it's done. Especially if it's anything like your Evo, that is one hot looking Evo. Good work and good luck on the Supra!
