does the iacv have a one way valve in it to prevent boost leaks?

indeed it does.

It's mounted between the valve and the intake manifold. It's usually a good idea to clean it off every once in a while too.

ive actually seen people buy after market ones (as a OEM replacement) of these and they allow more air pass than a cleaned old one heh
