1j rburns oil like a 2 stroke at idle

ok so had my 1j going for a month now running good, pulling hard and getting me in trouble :evil2: . however ever time i let it cool (2 min) after driving it starts to smoke (burn oil) like crazy :1zhelp: . i am gonna try going 10w 40 next week see if that helps and other ideas?

A thicker oil is not going to help.

blown turbos, blow-by on the rings, or bad valve stem seals

more then likly i bet its bad valve seals, i just had to replace mine, and its olny got 62,000KM on the head, so that would be my guess of things

hmmm ok what is involved in replacing the valve steam seals?

basicly tearing apart the hole topend of the motor (the head)
