ok so I picked up a supra yesterday. Basic's I traded my PS3 straight even for this car. I am in the process of going over her before I get her running right.

80GB PS3 no games straight trade for 1989 Supra, Targa, Turbo, Sports package.

1.) Receipt totaling 3500 for engine replacement/rebuild on 10/10/05
included New from toyota 7mgte short block
NGK plugs, waterpump, heater hoses, new from toyota NA cams, Camshaft pulleys,and much more.
2.) New Sony Explode CD player with remote model CDX-F5510
3.) Bulldog alarm
4.) complete SupraSport LIPP AFM with adjustable set screw

8.) I was told the turbo is a T3/T4 but i am not sure it has Zero play and spins smoothly. Can Any prove this by the pics.

9.) I have an APEXI Solenoid for just need to computer for the EBC. Wiring is already done

yeah that is step one Clean and take inventory. I will post my Compression test this weekend and hope to find more goodies. I am still waiting on the oh shit find as this all seems to good to be true.

That is a Blitz Bag turbo. One of the more rare parts for supra. Nice find!

really is that good? I am more knowledgeable on turbo theory than parts. Ok so I looked it up and its puts out about 10 to 15 percent more air flow than the stock ct26. Damn I am really getting worried now as I am finding way to much stuff on this car for the trade I made. OK so as of right now the only thing I can find that is missing is the APEXI EBC computer. Is it really worth the cost or can i find a cheaper replacement. 400 seems like a lot and I am guessing here but it looks like I am going to have to make a trip or two to a dyno for tuning before running this thing around. The only other thing I know from talking to the guy was it has a ceramic clutch if that is a good thing.

It's a good replacement, and it is a nice JDM rare tidbit. It won't net you 400 hp so that may be bad news u got it.

well right now I am more looking for a solid running supra but it nice to know what I have and that I seem to be on top of this trade. LOL I am still waiting for the deal buster surprise that i know is coming like that car is really two cars held together with duck tape. I also was told that it has some kind of after market suspension and a 3 inch turbo back exhaust but i have yet to dig that deep.

Even if it is 2 cars/duct tape you won this trade hands down. If you have to, you can part out what I've seen and heard and buy another running Supra and a PS3.

My bet is rod Knock or BHG. But, it could be as simple as a fuse.

I'm in the Mobile area, so one day I may be able to come see this one and lend a hand.

I looked at that car a bit back when the kid was trying to get 800 for it, it was def a steal for a PS3, but you do have some work ahead of you too. If I were you i'd clean and bugbomb the shit out of that interior I swear i was itchy for hours after sitting in that thing.

I've even thought about getting that 5spd turbo targa on pcola craigslist for 1900 but i really dont need it.

Well I got Time, Money, and Friends to help so i think I am just about covered on anything I could find wrong which at this point is very little. Even If I have to replace the motor and stuff its no biggie.

Here are a few of todays pics nothing spectacular but at least no more rust to worry about on the passenger side next Friday its the drivers side. bought a DA sander and went to town. all the rust came right off and showed clean bare metal no pits or any marks indicating problems.

the rough area where the trim use to be is getting filled in since the last guy had no idea how to do it I guess i will have to do it myself
