Way to test wastegate spring

Might be simple answer that I'm missing but what is the easiest way to measure a wastegate spring's in terms of pounds?

Mini regulator on a compressor with an accurate gauge.

Increase pressure and watch the gate, it takes very little opeing to control boost in an engine so soon as it's 1>2mm off the seat that is your spring pressure.
