OK i wanna kno since i had to take off my fuel dampner for the bic mounts on my 1jz swap if it would easier and better to put it some were else or bypass it any suggestions ?


also whats the purpose of the dampner ?

just bypass it, driftmotion sells a bypass hose.

it dampens pulsations from the pump. i got rid of mine and haven't noticed any ill effects.

i would recommend the 12 v pump rewire though.

but your still on the stock fuel pump right? then no need for 12 volt mod from what I understand..

mostly for the walbro, because it doesnt like the 8 to 12 volt switch

but if you are tuning, and still on the stocker. just do it, it makes tuning a lot easier

stock pump doesn't last long w/ 12v mod. you dont need to remove the FPD i fit mine fine on every 2jz and 1jz swap ive done on the bic brackets.
