dont listen to these guys the s13 rear end is SICK, mk3 and s13's have totally different styling, so you would never see an mk3 w/ a rear end like that but they look sexy on s13's

we ran ruckus brackets with nismo mounts, gotta say they sit pretty nice. only downside is the twins sit against the firewall so if you're trying to run heater lines you'll have to do some fabbing.
thanks again!

well, after countless sunrise-welcoming nights and tons of help from everyone, she's finally back on the street looking gangster, not ghetto (with stock 15s and no sideskirts on an aggressive kit =p) and sounds even better. this is one of those moments i could say i'm high on life (or maybe it's driving around all day without exhaust gaskets). so now she's back at the shop ready for an oil change, some side mirrors, and a high flow cat. the first event will hopefully be club loose followed by drift nirvana on sept 28th.

first event! fell in love with the car all over again, the motor feels nice, i didn't have a tach so really couldn't push it (haven't even confirmed a rev limiter)...other than that, great time driving. but of course it wouldn't be an event unless i lose a front bumper =D
next stop: summit point for drift nirvana on 09.28!

I like the car, just dont understand the need of a foot long shifter, three foot long exhaust tip, extreme negative camber on the front not allowing the tires to fully plant on their footprint, and scraping body panels over every little bump....sorry for the rant. Kinda gettin big into the drift scene.
But yeah sweet build. I like matching wheels too haha.

HAHAHAHA
The whole point is to look completely awesome. Scrape on as many things as possible. Make ass many loud/awesome noises as possible. That's kinda what drifting is.
And as for the camber thing. It's a mac strut running high amounts of caster car so when drifting the leading tire on front gets extreme positive camber at lock. I'll use my car as an example. I run -3.8 deg in front but at full lock my leading tire (the one doing all the work) is at positive 0.2 deg. At 3/4 lock (where I'm at the most) I have 100% contact patch. This is the reason. And it's not just a drift thing look around. Have you ever driven a car that has more front grip the more you turn? It's awesome.
This is a cool car IMO. It has an excellent oldschool/street drift style. Way to go.

The concept is there. The problem is the amount some of those guys go. They go way overboard to where they dont have the steering they need, it looses grip and they slide towards the wall. After looking at my tires with very little negative camber, they wore evenly during drifting.

Way to go.
haha, i completely understand where everyone is coming from and you'll notice i did cut the exhaust shorter...not because of the haters, but i don't want to ruin the turbo/manifold if i rub against the wall =)
as for the shifter...we're not concerned with shorter shifts, but confirmed shifts. i'm sure you won't be as confident with a stubby, quick shift over a larger throw which makes certain you're in the right gear (especially when your body is moving to the side instead of backwards).
as for camber, how's this for 100% contact patch..taken at the clubloose weekend killer (more pics later =p):

what a year! i accomplished the single goal i had one year ago which was to drive to and from the track for nearly every event spending minimal cash (no trailer or hotel). thanks to clubloose (http://clubloose.com/clubloose/index.html) opening the etown track every month and george's amazing work on the car, that was possible and this turned into the best drifting season ever! we also met some awesome people that i look forward to seeing next year, even had the pleasure of crashing with one, check out the left rear quarter =D. i patched the rear bumper up with some left over front bumper parts haha. funny thing is the last event i broke a stud and destroyed the rest of the front, also the stock twins are pretty much done so maybe that'll be all for the off-season, check the blog (http://www.powerzamcam.com/blog/)for winter rebuilds. well thanks to everyone for a great year! here are some pics from 2009...full gallery on flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/powerzamcam/sets/72157605868856875/):
