Yes it is an Opel cadet Caravan. Engine has new JE-Pistons, Eagel Rods and 272 " BC-Camses. Intake and exhaust manifold have built we. Transmission is a TH350 with Tranbrake and manuel Shift. Rearend is Ford 9" with 4,11 Gear.

I was surprised very much. Engine has sound very well and went very well.

I will test this weekend whether all works. Next weekend goes it on the Drag-Strip.

I still have small video from the builds this year.

wh- wh- wh- what?!?!?! :aigo:

I am thoroughly IMPRESSED with the custom fabrication done here.

I'm still in awe at the first impression reaction to your engine bay.

Not that I'm too familiar with Opel Cadet Caravans....
But I think I'll have to side on saying this would be the most bad@$$ one I've seen yet.

:)

Car looks awesome... Motor looks insane... Please post up your dyno numbers! Also, what kind of turbo are you using?

Its nice to see you reppin the 7M like that! Awesome! Oh, and there looks like soo much extra room in the engine bay!

The first times are 11.8 with 18PSI and 11.6 without intercooler with 100°C intake temperatures. That is not good. The Intercooler is very bad. http://www.e-b-tuning.de/ebay/Luckau.JPG

interesting to say the least. what is your reasoning behind running such large intercooler pipes?

Elli
10-02-2008, 01:21 AM
I hope I has understood you. The intercooler pipes have the same measurement like Throttle Body. Size is not so important, pressure doesn't fall until in goal.

So, your intercooler is a restriction...

Get two cheap 4" ebay ones, and then stack them with both fittings on the same side, or you could modify the end tanks.. or just get an intercooler from a large Semi Truck.. They flow plenty.. you might have to cut the semi truck one down slightly however, as they are pretty tall...

Is your current setup air to water? (I'm guessing it is.)

BTW, that is one radical drag racing machine. :) Very nice indeed.

Nice, thanks for sharing!!

How high is the rev limiter set to?

Elli
07-15-2009, 12:47 PM
We drive up to 7000. The clutches in the gearbox are bad. We have expanded it today. But we are satisfied. 11.003s with 22PSI and 2500lb.

very cool.

i find it crazy tho that there are a huge amount of people and cars and the top end of the track with no wall. luckily those little orange cones would protect them.
