Ok i introduced myself a couple of days ago and told everyone a little bit about my supra. Heres some pics of my 400.00 supra.
The two on the end are my rust problems thay are in the battery tray area and the lower radiator support through the wheel well. Gotta get that welded up soon, If anybody has had this problem I could use some help on this one. I am pulling thwe motor this weekend and buying a head for porting and polishing. Wiseco Pistons .040 and Eagle rods are next.

Yeah this will definately be a learning experience Ive built and rebuilt motors before but on carburated chevy's and fords. Ive had some minor experience in Fuel Injection so this supra will be a challenge but thats what I got it for plus 4-500 horsepower out of a six cylinder is just sexy as hell.

Thanks Andrew,
Heres an update, just got the motor out today its the first weekend Ive had without rain or having to work since I got the car. So heres the pics of the engine and tranny out shoot this thing is nasty. Ive got my wortk cut out for me. The other pic is of the gnarled piston from a valve failure I guess thats why the previous owner didnt keep the head. If anybodies got some pointers on how to get the tranny off Im all ears I cant get it to come loose its a manual by the way.
thanks

Hey cool, I'll be moving to Raleigh/Chapel Hill next summer. Nice to see some other Supras there. The house in Western N.C. has absolutely no Supras around. I've only seen 1 MKII and it's gone now.

OK just cleaned up the engine bay this weekend. It turned out pretty good. The only spot that Im worried about is the lower radiator support, its rusted completely through on the drivers side. Everyhting else cleaned up very good though I dont think Ill need to paint it.

Ok heres the pics of my 88 N/A donor car its in great shape. The body has a few scratches but all in all its gonna be perfect for my turbo motor when its all said and done. Not to mention Im gonna save more 3 times more for buying this in body work on my 89gte.

Ok my new shell has a problem its not got a key for the ignition or the doors. Evidently the previous owner lost the keys and butchered the ignition to get it started. So Im going to pull my 89 steering column and use it since Ive got a key for it. Im also going to be taking the door locks from the 89 and installing them into my 88. I'll post up some pics when I start the process.

you dont have to pull the whole stering column, 2 17mm bolts underneath and it drops the column down, u should be able to get what u need from there.
