View Full Version : Piston height in block 7MGTE

Was wondering if anyone knows. Are the pistons flush with the deck at TDC ? I had the block decked and pistons are up .018". I told the guy to machine just enough to clean up. Deck wasnt that bad to remove .018". I assume flush. Just want to be sure so I can order correct headgasket.

Stock is around 20 thou out of the hole.
