A local Supra owner is parting out his turbo kit and is selling an Apex'i IHI C7 with a Trust Manifold and a Greddy Wastegate. I tried to find some information on this turbo but Google somehow failed me.
Anyone have any information on this turbo? Apparently it spools fairly fast for how large it is and it supports up to 650hp.

This is an early version of a T67 IIRC.
Good turbo, east to find rebuild parts for.
Hard & major parts are not easy to find.

Any idea how reliable this turbo is?

I believe Duane (SM ID: upgradedsupra) ran this turbo, he'll probably chime in or you can send him a pm.

Not bad.
IMO, a little large on the wheels for such a small shaft.
It is afterall, "old" technology.
Reliable for the most part.

IHI RHC7 to be exact. :) It was at 27PSI and I put down 620RWHP & 650 RWTQ. It was a great turbo and I ended up selling the entire kit to a friend in Cali.
This turbo also has different rears and as I remember, mine was a 22CM housing. They made 2 smaller and one larger housing IIRC. The spool is decent and you don't have to wait for it to come back on when shifting.
