are these grounds and if not what are they and where do they go??
i cant find them in any wiring diagrams.

Yes they're grounds and are usually bolted to the Intake manifold.

is it on the lower half or the upper half of the intake manifold???

From memory there are a couple of tags on the lower half.

Yes there is a threaded hole that looks out of place and that's were they go.

What I like about the 7m is the wires generally reach to only a few places which makes it fairly easy to deduce what goes where when it's all together.

The flipside is, not so easy when it's tore down :icon_razz.
