Hey everyone! Well, we had an abnormal amount of rainfall here in Tri-Cities yesterday. My car hydroplaned at 35mph after coming out of a 25mph 90 degree turn. I did a 180, jumped a curb, hit a tree, slid across some grass and hit a parked cargo type truck. Needless to say...my near perfect baby was put to rest. :cry:

It was sad sad day. I almost had her where I wanted her too. :cry:

So! Now I'm in the market for a shell and wanted to let everyone know. Here's what I'm looking for:

Hard top
Straight Body
TEMS
87-92
Black, Red, Maroon, Silver (in that order)

All other details I can change or live with.

Sorry to hear about you car. Shell should be pretty easy to find and hopefully you had insurance to cover some of the cost.

It was like I was on ice. There was no skidding type noise or skid marks (except in my drawers :) ) and the car just kept going and going. I'd never had it happen before and don't want it to happen again!

Kenny: I remember waaaay back seeing a pic of an XJ6 Jag doing 100 mph with the front wheels locked just happily surfing along!

I'll post some pics in the next day or so. I'm still sorting out all of the details and letting this all settle in. My stomach is still in knots thinking about my car. I'm sure like all other supra owners, mine was considered one of my children!

I do remember a White package N/A with a shot motor / blue interior no idea on tems but I think they wanted 500 for it i will find out tommorow

how much are you willing to spend on a mk3? i have a freshly painted marron 86.5 supra turbo(i know you said 87-92) completely stock with all working features besides a/c. twosrus.com's mbc, hks bov that hasnt been installed and has 82XXX miles on the rebuilt motor. Paint was done my macco in tukwila, wa about a week ago. PM me if you're interested. im in the process of getting parts to replace my head gasket i blew.
