Ok so i'm upping my boost past fuel cut and i put my lexus afm and was tuning it my safc and I kept running into a cut and it would fall on its face. I turned the boost down to stock and it still happened So I thought boost leak I replaced my lower ic pipe and my 3000 coupler. Still cuts out. So I put my stock maf back on finally and it runs fine now. Has anyone else run into this problem and is there anyway to save my lexus afm?

Did you put your stock electronics into the lex afm housing?

Bigger question,
Did you put in 550cc injectors to use with the Lexus AFM ?

Yes, 550's are a must with the lexus AFM.
With the lex afm, you are letting in approximately 25% more air. So you put in 550cc injectors which is also about 25% more than stock. Putting more air into the engine without more fuel isnt a good idea. You dont want to run lean, or worse
You ATLEAST need a wideband sensor so you can monitor your air/fuel ratio.
And the stock electronics are held in by 3 screws. Unscrew them and pull it out. Then put them into the lexus afm housing.

try putting the 7m electronics(black box) on the lex housing . make sure to keep the rubber o ring in place

Alright, just checking. By all means you can run a lex afm with 440's but its not a good idea. It wont really have much of a benefit, if any. Swap the electronics and you should be good to go.
Good luck.

I disagree. 15PSI on a 60-1 instead of 10-12 (tuned of course)

Your welcome.
And yes, it can be tuned to work but you will have a higher FC with 550's. Depending on if he has a Safc or something. Let me put it this way, it is highly reccomended that you run 550's.
What kind of AFR's are you seeing Quin?

And get some 550s soon.
Reasonable @ 15PSI but at 17 it's too lean. I'm thinking somewhere between 11.5-12.3, I'll find the chart in a few and post up the specifics.
