spring perches

ok so i just went and put eibach springs and monroe sensa track struts on my car the springs were lowered 1.5 front and 1 in back i was driving down the road and pop the tires in the fender well has any one ever heard of a spring perch snapping ? i cant look till tomorrow when i get it home just wanted to see if anyone had any thing like this happen to them

So did you ever check and see what it was. A spring perch can break, whether due to fatigue, rust, poor materials or a manufacturing defect. If it did break and you just put them on, I would think it would be a defect that should be covered by any manufacturer's warranty. Or did something else break? I really hope you checked this out before you drove on it anymore.
