I bought an Optima Red Top battery for my friend's Supra the other day, and I told the guy at the parts store what car it was for, but the battery he gave me had backward terminals. What Optima Redtop has the correct terminals for our cars?

There is a different part number, they'll have to order it.
Or you can do what I did and extend the wires, but it's a bit of work...

Get the right one and you won't have to stretch, cut, or modify anything for it to fit..... 34r is one you want - it dropped right in my Supra.

Is it worth the money? I have heard mixed reviews.

Spiral wound AGM is a case of paying more to get less. You'll never find one in any of my cars even though on one the interior has to be partially dismantled to get at the battery.
If you have a definite need (say for anti-spill reasons or relocation) then it may be justified. However relocated batteries of any type should always be in a box.

My red top sits in a box in my back seat. no complaints, during many trial and error starts putting a beating on the battery, it still charges up great and starts strong every time. lots of cranking amps.

main reason I run one is because it's a lot harder for it to leak and cause rust
