Here are the rear brakes with a factory parking brake you have all been waiting for. Now you can have a matching front and rear Arizona Performance Wilwood brake kit with a working parking brake.

If you live in a state or country requires you to pass an inspection proving that your parking brake works, this is the kit for you. It works exactly as the factory parking brake does. You might need to turn the pinwheel adjuster for the drums in, since this will be the same diameter as a NEW Toyota rear drum.

This kit requires minimal rework on the factory cast iron caliper mounting tabs. Similar to the install on the front 13 inch kit a light grinding is all you need. Other than this light grinding, this is a bolt on kit all you need is brake fluid and the proper tools. In my opinion this install is more simple than any of my other installations. Look closely at the photos of the factory caliper mounting tabs.

The kit includes
2, 12.9 inch x 1.25 thick, directional vein, slotted, Wilwood rotors
2, Rotor hats, the center piece (These will include all fasteners installed and torqued) with STEEL brake drum for the factory parking brakes.
2, Wilwood 4 piston "forged" Superlite Calipers
2, Steel Bright Zinc plated Caliper brackets
2, Brake lines "braided stainless steel"
4, Brake pads, Wilwood Street Compound = low dust = excellent cold performance
and all required fasteners and instructions to complete the install.

The introductory price is $1595 plus shipping and handling.

I have all the parts in stock and can ship within 24 hours. I have many customers that have expressed interest in these and several that have paid a deposit, so this first batch will go quick.

Hey Andy, those do look great.

Is it possible to get the calipers in a different color or is black the only option?

WayneIm sorry but I have tried and Wilwood charges ME $95.00 per caliper more, your looking at, at least $200 up charge and at least a 3+ week wait. Im not saying its impossible, Im just saying its discouraged, and there are NO refunds if the color isnt correct.

they had the list of the contents for the front kit (they pulled the invoice from somewhere), but I think it's just the luck of the draw with them, as I've had some stuff come through without issue and other times (like with the front kit) they just drag their heels.

I doubt there's anything you cold do differently to make them move faster, it's something out of your and my control ;)

Nice Andy, I hope to be contacting you soon. I don't have ABS, so the balance of my brakes doesn't feel right....

Those rotors are really thick, will they work with MKIV rims?? Great looking kit!

Those rotors are really thick, will they work with MKIV rims??Yea they have less overhang than the 12.2 inch MKIII rear kit and those fit fine.

They shouldnt have any problems what so ever. I dont have an image of this measurement on the 12.9 in rear kit, but I assure you this measurement is less than this.

Ok, I must have them. Do you happen to have a template for these like you had for the fronts? My front kit turned out so nice, I'm excited to get some bigass matching brakes on the rear too...

Do you happen to have a template for these like you had for the fronts?I am still working on that, but they have more clearance than the fronts do, If your wheels are the same front and rear you should have NO problem. I will see what I can get done this week.

Thanks for the compliments.

Is there anything paticular to think about when installing these and are you making an installation guide?

arz
02-24-2009, 12:14 AM
I need to get to that, but to be honest its pretty simple the only difficult thing needed is to grind the factory cast part like I show in the photos. Nothing special. Several have been sold and no real questions from the customers.

hello, i sent u an email sometime ago and got no reply so will ask here....

what is the hat bolt pattern? will it fit other rotor manufactures like brembo/alcon/dba.

if so - will u sell the hat seperately - ie not in a kit.

reason i ask is i have a f40 brembo front kit and want to install a brembo rear kit (34 gtr caliper) purely to match the fronts, however i cant find a suitable 324mm ish 1 piece rotor which is 22mm thick to fit our inner drums.

cheers

cheersIm sorry I dont sell parts other than to replace worn parts from my kits. The main problem is I sell you a part and have no idea what parts you have and then Im married to the entire job.

I sell a complete kit and I can answer any question you have with 100% confidence that you will have every part I refer to. If I sell you rotors and hats and the next guy calipers and pads, and each of you have different problems, I would waste tons of time solving problems that are not even my fault.

I have hundreds of customers and of all my customers almost every one that has had a problem has posted here with their problems. All of our kits are VERY complete and have EVERYTHING included except brake fluid and tools.

If you want a complete kit, please contact me. If you want any of the single components in my kit, Im sorry I can not sell them unless they are replacement parts for one of our kits.

Does this kit keep the rear offset the same as stock or is the rotor hat thicker than stock pushing the wheels out further?

arz
06-25-2009, 11:19 AM
This rotor hat is about 2 milimeters thicker. I think you will have a hard time telling that they are wider.
