So lets have a meet fella's. What day is good for everyone? Id say the 15th or 22nd off of capital, or better yet at Umstead park and we can grill or something. Anybody else have any ideas or a better time

Yo, just realized this thread was here. I'm down for meeting up on the 15th. I'll be in Virginia on the 22nd. Umstead Park is out here on Glenwood right? Sounds good to me. Grill some burgers, talk some cars, drink some beer.....mmmmm.....beer.

Umstead park is off of Harrison Ave in Cary. If you get on 40 W from raleigh you will see it. We gotta get some more people to go though

Alright guys, here are some better directions,

If coming from Durham get on 40 east and take exit 287. When you come to the stop sign make a left and go straight through the light. You cant miss it, you will either be headed straight for a road in the woods or straight into Cary.

If Coming from the Raleigh area get on 40 west and get off on exit 287. When you come to a stop make a right off the exit and head for the woods. Once again, you cant miss it. You'll know immediately if you've gone the wrong way.

So what time is good for everybody? I know im working and going to school during the week so Id like some time to clean the car b4 showing up, but any ideas??

And so what if your clutch is out, just come and show your face and hang out with us, the more the merrier

Umstead Park, Raleigh

Directions: Two entrances (north and south). South entrance is on North Harrison Avenue off I-40. North Entrance is off Hwy 70, 1/2 mile east of I-540 interchange. Easy access from anywhere in the Research Triangle Area. I dont know whether the two entrances are connected by a road or if you have to just go through all the trails, but Ill look into it some more b4 sat.

1pm is cool with me what about the rest of you guys?

There are quite a few parking lots in that park. Which one are we meeting up at? Also, are we doing some grillin? If so, are we dividing up the ingredients or should we all just fend for ourselves? I know I'll be bringing some beer. I might get one of those sweet little mini kegs of cours lite. its like a 5 liter keg they sell at BJ's.

I'm also trying to get the guy that was on I540 a month ago to come out. I spoke to him five minutes ago. He said he would try to make it. I heard his car is sweet. Plus he has his own shop, we could get some really good tips from him.

lol, thats something I would say. Maybe we should bring our own stuff for our first meet. Then while we are there we can see whats close by and decide what we should do for the next meet. There is going to be a next meet right? Just a thought. but again I will do what the majority wants to do.

Yeah, we can all just fend for ourselves for this one I guess and do a better job planning everything out for the next meet. But there are a shitload of restaraunts off of glenwood so we could just meet up and grab something out there. Hell the three of us make up 3/4ths of the meet anyway so we can decide.

So have we decided to meet at the glenwood entrance or the harrison ave entrance? Cuz I dont think the two are connected by roads. We dont want anyone getting lost, ya know.

Since My Supra is now Owned By my Girlfriend, I showed her the vid, and she said "when are we going to some supra meets"

I told her when I get another supra or a supra related type car, ;)

Unless you guys dont mind the supra coming and me following in my Mustang ;)
