Well I just got my Prosport gauges from the recent group buy and was wondering how I am going to install the oil pressure gauge. My car is a JZA70 and from factory it never had an oil pressure gauge.
I was wondering if/where there are any oil galleries that I can plug the sensor into on the 1JZ. Also, for those who have installed oil pressure gauges how did you do it?
Thanks,
Steve

I got a tee from a hose shop and plumbed it into my oil relocation kit. One of the MKIII stores have a oil sender kit available. which i would suggest. Good luck

intalled in on one of the oil cooler ports.
Can't i splice the oil pressure wire (there is 2 i think) and use it to get a signal for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge?

i suppose you could but im not sure the stock sending unit is as accurate as an aftermarket. kinda like our water temp gauges - im not sure if its the sender's fault or the gauge's fault.

Well with aarons ss line adaptor cant you plug up the sender there and wire it to the aftermarket one? Or if you have a sandwhich plate cant you plug it up to one of the holes there?

Thanks for the help guys. I was hoping that there would be an easy to access oil gallery hole on the block. I have some fittings that I was going to try but it looks like I might have to get the sandwich plate or the driftmotion fittings.
