7m-gte ECU harness

I would like to know when the 7m-gte harness changed to Grey plug, I am hearing different thing but from what I understand it was late 89.

The early '89 had the grey plugs too, but would connect to the yellow connectors. I pulled an '89 ECU harness (grey plugs) and dropped in an '87T harness, and everything just clipped up. My car's production date is 10/88 and it's an early '89 with the square motor mounts.

Edit: The ABS didn't just work, I had to adapt the harness to get that to work.

any 89 that i have seen, including the 2 i own, have gray plugs. 86.5-88 are yellow
