my car is a 86 mk3 with a 2j on stock twins.

i will be running the aem ems.

i have the following supporting parts for use in my car:

aem IAT
aem boost control solenoid
aem wideband uego

full defi gauge setup (boost, water temp, oil temp, fuel press, oil press, egt)

im probably going to fly someone in to tune the car and i want to make sure i have everything that i need , or they need to get the job done so that its not a mad scramble at the last minute.

GM/AEM Map sensor maybe?

If i'm not mistaking, the 2jz has a map sensor, but it only supports/reads up to a certain boost level! correct me if i'm wrong guys. Especially if you plan on upgrading the turbos later on

I don't think you can adjust boost on the fly without having a laptop out. Correct me if Im wrong. I don't think there is an external scramble boost switch.

You can actually use a switch to access low and high boost settings with the AEM. You can also set-up boost based on vehicle speed or throttle position against rpm. I'm quoting from this thread on the AEM forum.

An HKS DLi would be a really good idea. You can probably max out the stock turbos without it but, you will have to run a rediculously low plug gap and driveability will suffer.
