Coilover with External Nitrogen Reservoir? Advantages.... worth it?

I'm wonder what peoples thoughts are. I know nothing of this.

External reservoirs are common on higher end setups. On those, I don't think they're doing the same thing. That looks like it is just extra space for nitrogen.

On better reservoirs, they usually house an additional valve that can be used to adjust damping. Usually it is just compression adjustment. Penske, Bilstein, etc make good reservoirs that will allow you to adjust the compression.

External reservoirs can also help with heat dissipation.
