Supposed to be like this? i noticed it today while i was under the car and it sounded an alarm in my head so i was just wondering and figured id ask.

yes..at least in the probably 30 or so trannys i have seen they have been like that.

aight i was just wondering i spotted it while i was under there crackin the drain bolt loose and figured id ask

Yeah, both of mine are like that... made me wonder too.

It's a torque stop so it can't tear the trans mount off.

The bolt part can't fit through the hole.....
(it's bigger)

So when the rubber is pulled upwards by the trans the bolt stops and the rubber doesn't tear off.

Most trans mounts are also oil soaked and soft and squishy like Jello.......Which is why BIC performance just finnished the prototype Poly transmission mounts!!! The production versions will be available in May.
