Big Brake Kit Question

I am looking at purchasing the 6 piston 13 inch kit for the MK3 this summer. My question is can I just run a big brake kit on the front for this summer until I can afford the rears? Or should I just wait and buy the front and rears at once.

Also how much of a improvement is the 6 piston over the 4? I know it is hard to compare but I am just wondering if it is worth the extra coin.
